Multiple Su-34 and Su-24 Destroyed and Damaged at Marinovka Air Base by New Tungsten-Warhead Drone
Video Summary
Russian airbase attack by Ukraine’s drones confirmed by satellite imagery. On the before images, the base was home to 14 Su-24s and 8 Su-34s, with 7 more Su-34s and several hangers. The attack caused significant damage, with at least three Su-34s destroyed, one Su-24 destroyed, and one Su-24 damaged. The strike was successful, considering Russia’s air defense system was unable to intercept all the drones. The new Tungsten-equipped drones, which can replicate the high-velocity anti-aircraft round, was used in the attack, causing significant damage to the aircraft and structures. The strike also highlights the effectiveness of Ukraine’s drone technology, which has been used to conduct strikes at over 1,800 km from the front lines.
