Marinovka Air Base in Volgograd Hit by Drones– Targetting Ammunition Storage

The Marinovka Airbase is home to the 11th Composite Aviation Regiment, which operates Su-24 and Su-34 fighter jets. The Google Earth image of the base, taken in May 2022, shows the facility is 550 kilometers from Kharkiv. The strike was a long-range one, with the drones traveling a significant distance to reach their target. As satellite imagery becomes available, it is expected to show significant damage to the base, with a substantial blaze engulfing the ammunition storage area.
