Kursk: HIMARS Destroys a Pontoon, Russian Friendly Fire on Column in Korenevo, T-90M Captured
Video Summary
Ukraine has released footage showing attacks on Russia’s pontoon crossings near the city of Glukhova. The video shows Russia’s pontoon bridge, which is already constructed, being hit by high-impact cluster munitions, as well as a pontoon under construction and a nearby crane or excavator being hit by a combination of cluster rounds and FPV drones. Additionally, a pontoon-borne vehicle is seen getting hit by an FPV drone. The attacks have left Russia with only one confirmed crossing option in the area.
In other developments, Ukraine’s military has continued to target Russian forces, including a column of Russian vehicles, which was mistakenly hit by Ukrainian forces. The column, which appears to be a Russian resupply mission, was believed to be carrying equipment and personnel.
Ukraine has also captured two Russian military vehicles, including a T-62M tank and a BTR-82 armored personnel carrier. The T-62M tank is in decent condition and may be repaired and put back into service.
Russian forces have also suffered losses in other parts of Ukraine, including in the Kursk region, where a column of Russian vehicles was destroyed by Ukrainian forces. It is believed that Russian forces are retreating from the area.
In a related development, a fundraiser has been launched to support the acquisition of an armored vehicle for the Ukrainian military. The goal is to raise £15,000 to purchase a vehicle that will be equipped with ceramic and Kevlar armor to provide better protection for Ukrainian soldiers. As of now, the fundraiser has raised nearly £10,000.
