DeepState: Russia occupies Novosadove in Donetsk, advances near Selydove and Kurakhove

Russian forces occupied Novosadove village in Donetsk Oblast, located on the border with Luhansk Oblast, the DeepState analytical project reports.

Novosadove had no permanent residents as of 2018. The village had previously been under Russian occupation during the full-scale invasion until Ukrainian forces liberated it on 24 October 2022.

DeepState reports that Russian troops have also advanced to the Oskil River in Kruhliakivka, Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast.

The Russian forces also made advances near Bohoiavlenka in the Volnovakha district, Zoriane and Selydove in the Pokrovsk district, and Novodmytrivka in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk Oblast.

Pokrovsk has been a focal point of intense fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces since October 2023, with Russia launching major offensives to capture and expand its control in western Donetsk Oblast.
