War update | Dissecting russian propagandists | Day 838
Video Summary
I’m excited to be back streaming for you all, despite my struggles with internet issues due to local bureaucracy. I’ve got some big updates for you, starting with a Russian ship, the Admiral Kuznetsov, which caught fire in the Black Sea. It’s not clear what caused the blaze, but it seems to have been linked to the use of Ukrainian-made engines. This is just the latest in a series of struggles faced by Russia’s military.
Next up, I want to discuss the Russian Su-57, a cutting-edge jet fighter. It’s recently been involved in a weird incident, in which it was damaged by a Ukrainian drone in a Russian airbase. This has led to a lot of anger and denial from the Russian military, with claims that they have 70 of these planes – but it seems clear that they only have a handful.
I’ve also got some updates on the situation in Ukraine, including a report from the General Staff that Russia has lost 1.5 million tons of oil as a result of Ukrainian strikes. This is a massive blow to Russia’s economy, and it’s just one example of how Ukraine is fighting back against Russian aggression.
Let’s also talk about the situation in Donbas, where Russian troops have been accused of using tactics like black-market weapons and ammunition sales. I’ve recently been made aware of some shady deals happening in the black market, and I have to wonder who the buyers are.
Finally, I want to touch on the subject of sanctions. I think the West should impose more sanctions on Russia, not just the military sector, but also the economy. Unless Russia is hit hard, they won’t change their ways. And I have to wonder, what’s the point of sanctions if not to change policies and punish those responsible?
Thanks for sticking with me through this update, and remember to support Ukraine. We’re fighting for democracy, and your support will never be forgotten. Be safe, and we’ll see you next time.
