Ukraine Daily Update | Day 722
Video Summary
Today marks the 722nd day of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. This morning, Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine, targeting several cities, including Bava, Leiv, and Kivo. The air defense system intercepted most of the missiles, but one object of civilian infrastructure was hit, resulting in two civilian injuries. The mayor reported that several missiles were also intercepted over Kivo, causing no damage or casualties.
A little over an hour before the missile attack, Russian forces struck the city of Chui, causing significant damage to civilian properties and resulting in the death of a 67-year-old Ukrainian woman. The Russian government’s logic behind targeting civilian objects is rooted in their war of terror, which aims to spread fear and chaos to further their political, religious, or ideological goals.
As we continue to fight for our freedom, the Russian government views every Ukrainian civilian as a legitimate target. The European countries recognized Russia as a terrorist regime in October 2022, and NATO assembly followed suit in November of the same year. The death toll continues to rise, and experts warn of a potential future Russian invasion of Europe. It’s crucial to remember that Vladimir Putin has made multiple promises not to attack Ukraine, but with no questions from journalists.
On a more positive note, Matt Wallace, a self-proclaimed “worse crypto influencer” on Twitter, created a propagandist video featuring the Russian military, claiming that anyone who believes Ukraine can beat Russia is “clinically insane.” However, the community swiftly reminded him that Ukraine has already sunk four out of five large surface vessels shown in the video, leaving me to believe that this claim deserves an “Ownage of the Year” award. Let’s all stay safe and have a beautiful day.
