Russia to be “Forced into Peace” by Ukraine

Russia’s President Putin is proposing broader criteria for using nuclear arms, stating that aggression against Russia by any non-nuclear state with the participation or support of a nuclear state would be considered a joint attack on Russia. This comes as Ukraine’s President Zelensky is visiting the United States and meeting with world leaders to discuss the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. The Kremlin has responded to Zelensky’s claims that Russia can only be forced into peace by saying that such a position is a “fatal mistake” for Russia. Meanwhile, NATO countries are providing military assistance to Ukraine, with the United States announcing $375 million in military aid.
The UN General Assembly met this week and powerful speeches condemning Russia were given by Ukraine and the UK.
