Satellites Reveal True Devastation of Russian Ammo Depots
Russia’s failure to secure ammunition depots has left thousands of Ukrainian artillery shells damaged or destroyed, causing chaos in Russia’s war effort. An analysis of high-resolution satellite images reveals 58 buildings, including an arsenal and train station, destroyed in Ukraine’s attack. The buildings were left empty and unprotected, making it easy for Ukraine to target them.
Ukraine has also demonstrated its growing prowess in warfare, using domestic drones to hit over 200 military targets inside Russia. Russia’s air defense systems are faltering, leaving them struggling to respond to Ukrainian long-range strikes.
On the front lines, Ukraine is still holding on to its positions in areas such as the village of Vladar, despite relentless Russian assaults. The failure of the Russian army in this battle has resulted in significant casualties and has weakened their fighting spirit.
Russia’s humanitarian crisis is worsening, as injured soldiers, including storm units made up of prisoner-soldiers, go untreated due to a lack of medical resources. Ukraine has exploited Russia’s problems by releasing footage of Ukrainian prisoners of war being released, which could further reduce Russia’s morale.
Ukraine has received significant foreign support, with Denmark recently contributing 19.5 million dollars to restore the country’s energy systems. The President of Ukraine recently visited the United States to boost international cooperation and showed appreciation for American support in the war against Russia.
Russia’s image has continued to suffer internationally, as they are excluded from participation in the world chess competition and face global condemnation of their invasion of Ukraine.
