Is there an alliance between Russia, China, and Iran?

Video Summary

In recent years, there has been much speculation about Russia, China, and Iran’s cooperation to destabilize the world and create problems for the West. Some may refer to them as a “new evil axis,” and it is true that these countries share common interests and collaborate. However, I believe that there are some things about their relationship that are often misunderstood. This article will discuss the relationship between Russia, China, and Iran, and how I think it is important to understand it.

First, it is important to understand that these countries do not have an alliance. They have common interests and may find it beneficial to help each other, but they do not have a special bond or ideology. They are not concerned with each other’s goals or success. For example, the Chinese or Iranians are not concerned with whether Russia wins or loses in Ukraine. They do not have a particular stance on whether Ukraine should be an independent nation. Similarly, the Russians are not concerned with whether Taiwan is a part of China or not. They do not have a special interest in the Shia Islamic project, which Iran has been involved in. When they work together, it is because they share common interests. Sometimes, it is a trade agreement where both sides benefit. Iran may provide drone technology to Russia in exchange for, for example, fighter jets, or China may help Russia gain access to technology in exchange for cheap gas. At other times, it is not a straightforward trade agreement. So, these countries may support each other without necessarily receiving anything in return. But in those cases, it is because it serves their own foreign policy interests.

Despite their differences, Russia, China, and Iran are united in their opposition to the United States and the collective West. They all want to see a new world order where the United States has less influence, and other powerful countries like themselves have more freedom to do as they wish. This is a destructive project that unites these countries. They need each other to create problems for the United States and the West, which will eventually lead to overstretch and make it impossible for the West to maintain the rule-based international order. The author believes that we should be aware of the potential for East Asia to rise and become more powerful, as it would allow the authors to reduce their dependence on the United States and other Western countries.
